The Nordlicht Wintermarkt returns this season with crafts, street food, and light installations — now at a new date and a new location.

New date: Thursday, 27 August 2026

New venue: Dreispitz Areal, Münchensteinerstrasse 27, Basel

Time: 16:00–22:00 (unchanged)

Visitors can browse stalls from local makers, warm up with food from a dozen street-food vendors, and wander a trail of light art after dark.

The move to Dreispitz gives the market more room; the programme, opening hours, and free entry remain exactly as previously announced.
